Welcome to Jennifer Armstrong Pilates!

My approach to training draws from Pilates, yoga, dance, martial arts, and strength training, beginning with postural and movement assessments to understand how each person moves and functions. Shaped by my own experiences with injury, recovery, and staying active as I age, I focus on a whole-person approach—body, mind, and nervous system—because there is no one-size-fits-all path to strength and healing.

Working on the Pilates Reformer allows me to strengthen all the muscles in my body, improves joint proprioception, posture and balance. The exercises are not too strenuous and Jenny does a great job of adapting them to meet the needs of each class member. If you want a strong, firm, toned core, try a Pilates mat or reformer class. You will be glad you did!

Jenny teaches concepts clearly. She demonstrates and gives appropriate and individual correction. She stays abreast of developments in the field ; is highly knowledgeable about body mechanics and movement techniques and therapies. She thoughtfully prepares lessons to very exercises and target specific parts of the body. Lessons are often prepared with an eye towards a particular theme. This makes each lesson unique, interesting, and effective.
